Additional professional education (AVE) is part of the education system of the Russian Federation. Article 10 Federal Law "On Education in the Russian Federation" N273-FZ dated December 29, 2012 says: “Education is divided into general education, vocational education, additional education and vocational training, ensuring the possibility of realizing the right to education throughout life (continuing education).”

Article 76 of the same law APE is aimed at meeting the educational and professional needs, professional development of a person, ensuring that his qualifications correspond to the changing conditions of professional activity and the social environment.

Today, the Center for Additional Professional Education presents more than 150 online programs in various fields. At the end of the training, the student receives (professional retraining programs - from 260 to 650 hours) or (training programs - from 40 to 200 hours). The diploma and certificate are documents of the established form in accordance with the current legislation in the field of education with the right to carry out a new type of activity (part 15 and part 11 of Article 60 of the Federal Law "On Education in the Russian Federation" N273-FZ).

They confirm the professional level of the holder and his right to carry out qualified activities in organizations on the territory of the Russian Federation and countries participating in intergovernmental agreements on mutual recognition and equivalence of documents on education.
